Situation
A domestic energy services company needed to implement a more scalable ERP solution to support future growth, controls, business process standardization, and reporting requirements. Executive leadership recognized the need for a fully integrated ERP system that included cost tracking, maintenance tracking, customer service, accounting, and dynamic reporting capabilities.
Our Response
Trenegy led the project team through system design, testing, and rollouts to implement a client-specific blueprint using the new ERP solution. We worked with the company to manage all project activities and resources, identify streamlined business processes, oversee communications and training, facilitate testing and acceptance, and provide overall project quality assurance.
Results
Situation
An E&P company recently divested from its parent to become a stand-alone entity. Due to the accelerated divestiture timeline, the organization needed to rapidly stand up an integrated set of fit-for-purpose systems aligned to its new structure. Challenges spanned multiple parts of the business: a gap between accounting and operations, manual work processes, lack of organization around work orders and maintenace costs, and a need to bring Land functions in-house from an outsourced provider.
Our Response
Trenegy helped oversee the planning, design, and implementation of multiple systems across the organization, including ERP, fixed assets, enterprise asset management, and land management. Our team led functional and technical design sessions, managed data conversion, and designed company-wide processes and to fit the new systems. Across every finance and operations function, we facilitated knowledge transfer, coordinated end-to-end testing in accordance with SOX standards, and provided training to ensure end-user acceptance.
