Situation
A large California-based E&P company was faced with increasing regulations impacting its cost structure and ability to produce at a profitable rate. The new CFO saw an opportunity to position the finance organization to address the new challenges and drive the company strategy to achieve a $30 per BoE break-even the next five years.
Our Response
The Trenegy team developed a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap through facilitating workshops with finance leadership to identify key performance metrics, process improvements, technology opportunities, and organizational improvements. The team worked with finance leadership to develop opportunities to improve engagement with operations and lead business process optimization efforts across the entire organization.

Situation
A global oil & gas equipment company faced significant challenges with complex finance and accounting functions, making it difficult for operations to obtain reports and make informed decisions. They had a disjointed and top-heavy management structure that operated in geographic silos, creating slow and inconsistent processes. The company was also planning to purchase new financial reporting technology, but first needed to re-define its reporting process and standards to ensure effectiveness.
Our Response
Trenegy assessed Finance's global organization and processes and helped redesigned the organization. We helped remove unnecessary management layers, consolidate leadership into a unified team, and define clear roles and accountability for consistency across the department.
